It was easy to see how care-fully the stones had been set, so thatthe fish could only swim one was an old sheep wash, madeby the very early settlers in the dayswhen the wool was washed on thesheeps back, instead of being scouredafter shearing. Mrs. Learmonth gave us afternoontea, and showed us her lovely garden;pointing out the nests of the ScrubWren, Blue Wren and very happy finish to a most interest-ing and enjoyable week.
