Connected with the institution is a fine museum,a very valuable library, and an extensive chemical apparatus for professors are able and generally distinguished men, and the institution,until recently, has had no rival in the west. The Law School, like the Medical college, is connected with the TransylvaniaUniversity. This department has three professors, (Judges Robertson, Woolleyand ^Marshall), who are distinguished for their learning and legal acquirements. The Lunatic Asylum is one of the noblest institution
