Figures made out of totomoxtle or corn husks on display at the Noche de los Rabanos Zocalo Oaxaca Mexico


Noche de los rabanos or night of the radishes is held every 23 December in Oaxaca, Mexico. Elaborate displays are made as extremely large radishes are carved and shaped along with displays of flor inmorta, immortal flower and totomoxtle, corn husks. The radish sculptures are displayed in the Zocalo throughout the night and prizes given for best entrant.
