The death of John L. Burns occurred at theresidence of a nephew, Mr. Hagarman, nearBonneauville, this county on Sunday morning,February 4, 1872, from pneumonia, after a shortattack. His body was interred in the EvergreenCemetery on Monday with the honors of war, theGettysburg Zuoaves turning out on the age was about seventy-eight years.
