Statue of Concordia on Jubilee Column commemorating Silver Jubilee of King Wilhelm 1. Schlossplatz, Stuttgart, Germany

Stuttgart's Palace Square was originally part of the Ducal garden and served as a military parade ground. In the 19th century it was converted to a Baroque park used by the townspeople. The centre of the park houses the Jubilee column commemorating the 25th anniversary (1841) of King Wilhelm I. von Württemberg. The statues and reliefs at the base of the column were made by the sculptor Theodor Wagner and the 5m high statue of Concordia topping the column is by Ludwig von Hofer.
