Prince Augustus Frederick, Duke of Sussex, 19th century. Augustus Frederick (1773-1843), a son of George III, was president of the Society of Arts from 1816 until his death. He was the favourite uncle of Queen Victoria and gave her away at her wedding. (Colorised black and white print).
