Wellington Crescent, a famous Regency terrace directly facing Ramsgate's seafront. The whole Crescent is bisected by The Plains of Waterloo. Wellington Crescent was built in the 1820's on the former site of camps and parade grounds for the Duke of Wellington's Troops during the Napoleonic Wars.
