Mahakali Caves or Kondivita Caves are 19 rock-cut buddhist monuments built between 1st century BCE and 6th century. Andheri, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Caves are carved out of a solid black basalt rock. Cave 9 is the largest cave with seven depictions of the Buddha and figures from Buddhist mythology but are all mutilated.
