Growing six to seven inches in diameter, or a circumference of about twenty inches; flat, silvery white, mild, fine flavor, a heavy cropper; the largest onion in cultivation; fine for exhibition. Pkt, 10c; oz. oOc. ONION SETS. The Potato and Top Onions are grown only from bulbs. The Potato onion is increased by the bulb splitting up and dividing itself into six or eight smaller bulbs, which in turn form the sets to plant for the next crop. The Top Onion forms clusters of small bulbs on the stem, which are broken apart and planted in the same manner as the sets above referred to. Add 20 centspsr quart if sent by mail^ Potato Onions. The earliest of all onions, and the most profitable for the market gardener, being ready for market in 5 or 6 weeks from time of planting; to be tied in bunches in the green state; six weeks in advance of the top or white onion sets.
