Growing six to seven inches in diameter, or a circumference of about twenty inches; flat, silvery white, mild, fine flavor, a heavy cropper; the largest onion in cultivation; fine for exhibition. The Potato onion is increased by the bulb splitting up and dividing itself into six or eight smaller bulbs, which in turn form the sets to plant for the next crop.
