Volcano Etna, the third paroxysm of the summit crater within less than 3 days, the strombolian activity at the Voragine Crater has steadily increased during the evening and the night of 20th May 2016 until the appearance of lava fountains in the early hours of the morning of 21 May 2016, producing a dense ash plume.
