TVI. civil account per chronometer, the distance of the nearest limbs of the sun and moon was observed to be 69** 51' 46" to find the lon- gitude. Longitude deduced, 6" 00' 25", or 90° 06' 15" W. of Greenwich. »N*ote. The chronometer run down on the night of the 16th, so that the subsequent error in time, compared with the preceding, aflfords no data to estimate the rate of the time-piece.
