The man is standing in front of a building with a building with a Murad wall on the left side and a balustrade on the right side. On the ground small trim oves. In the background foliage and behind this, the masts of one or more Swedish warships, with flags and pennants hoisted. No signature is visible in the image surface. The painting is performed with dark color tones, light thin, details mainly in the man's face. Fertissed frame of gold-plated wood, B = 180mm, with ornament of gilded plaster. At the bottom square plate, screwed and equipped with text: "Riksamiralen and the guvetire Greve Gustaf Otto Capenbock 1614-1685. A friendship of the Amiral Stig Bergelin - Museum's many years of President" Gustav Otto Stenbock was among much different governor between the years 1664-1676.
