As already stated, George, Lord Seton, the eldest surviving son of George, third Earl of Winton,was born 15th May 1613. He mar-ried, in 1639, Lady Henrietta Gordon(paternally Seton), second daughterof George, second Marquis of Huntly,2by whom he had four sons :— 1. George, born 4th May 1642,who succeeded his grandfather asfourth Earl of Winton, in December1650. 2. Alexander, born 21st January1644, and died without issue before1673. 3. Christopher, born 15th April1645, and died unmarried. 4.
