Ponte Gregoriano, Tivoli, Italy


The Ponte Gregoriano consists of a single arch. In 1944, the Germans in retreat from Tivoli, destroyed the bridge which was immediately rebuilt. Tivoli is an ancient town, said to date from 1215 BC, located on the Aniene River close to the Great Waterfall.
