Mayi6th, the report was exhaustively considered; June 6th,was further considered, and adopted, as also the amendmentoffered by Dr. McArdle.* February 17, 1904, a letter from the Health Officer ofthe District in regard to physicians notifying that officer ofcases of pulmonary tuberculosis coming under their care,was received by the Society, asking its opinion. The letterwas referred to the Executive Committee, which, September21st, reported unfavorably, but recommended that theHealth Officer issue a circular of instructions in regard tothe prophylaxis of the disease. The report was adoptedby the Society November 30th. It may be mentioned herethat October 26th there was a symposium on tuberculosisbefore the Society, in which Drs. W. C. Woodward, D. , A. F. A.
