The line of battle at the right of the Redoubt con-sisted of two regiments only, the ;th and 101st Penna. These two battalions were foimed inrear of rifle pts which extended from the Redoubt to the Williamsburg road, and from theroad to a woods north of the road. At no time during the battle of Seven Pines was thisposition occupied by other Federal troops. In rear of the 101st Regt. Regans battery was inposition, and it at no time occupied the position in advance of the rifle pits, as shown in themap.
