Established 1801. Sole makers of the Original Berwick Cockles: soft peppermint boiled sweets. The shop was painted by LS Lowry in 1938; entitled 'From the Old Bridge'. Berwick is the northern most town in England, and is the former county town of Berwickshire in Scotland.
