In 1488, by coming back to home after the battle of Saint-Aubin-du-Cormier, Louis II de la Trémoille invited to his table his prisoners, Louis II of Orléans and the prince of Orange, as well as other captive knights, and at the end of the meal, he let in two Franciscans to listen to the confession of his prisoners. - Histoire Populaire de la France, Tome Deuxième Ch.
