Secretary of the Army Pete Geren was the commencement speaker at the 210th graduation at the Military Academy for the 972 members of the Class of 2008. Secretary Geren spoke to both the cadets and their Families and friends who had come to the event. As part of his speech, he told the assembled group "What a profound honor it is to share this occasion with you. ..." and thanked everyone for their service and sacrifice.
