A left-hand dagger, South German, circa 1650 Heavy, thrusting blade with two fullers on each side and a raised midrib. Chiselled iron hilt with silver inlays, guard ring on the obverse side. Grip cover has lavish wire winding and braided ferrules. Somewhat stained and pitted. Silver inlays lightly worn by cleaning.
