Almadraba tuna fishing. Almadraba fishermen catching Atlantic bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus). The Almadraba technique is an ancient passive trapping method of catching Atlantic bluefin that uses a maze of nets that the tuna cannot escape. Here, the fishermen are tying ropes round the fish's tails so that they can be hoisted into the boat's hold. Photographed in Zahara de los Atunes, Andalucia, Spain.
