Delegates at a conference on Medical History. Among the delegates seen here are George Corner (1889-1981), US anatomist, and Richard Shyrock (1893-1972, second from right), US medical historian. Corner is best known for his work on the function of hormones in the female reproductive system, which led to the discovery of progesterone.
