An old standard variety still popular in many sections of the middle and northern states. Plants are vigor- ous growers and very productive. Berries are uniform in shape, medium to large in size, of good flavor and attractive appearance. We would much prefer Big Late but can realize the reluctance of some to pass up an old faith- ful like Sample. Blossoms are imperfect. Pollenize with Aroma, Big Joe, Gibson or Dunlap.
