NEW YORK (Nov. 11, 2016) -- Sailors from the USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) march down Fifth Avenue in America’s Parade. USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) is participating in Veterans Week New York City 2016 to honor the service of all our nation’s veterans. The ship recently returned from the humanitarian assistance mission to Haiti in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew.
