A yokohagi do tosei gusoku, Japan, dated 1741. Assembled from old pieces. A leather five plate kabuto, tehen kanamono with helmet decoration of white yak hair. A hineno-shikoro of four lames in blue sugake binding. Brass maidate in the shape of a fern. Recent nara-mempo. Iron yokohagi-do, with brown and black lacquer. Inside it bears a red lacquer signature, "Iwai Handjiro" and "Kakihan", dated "genbun go hiro ku gatsu hi" (September 1741). A leather kusazuri of four lames with blue sukake binding is attached.
