SAN DIEGO (Feb. 5, 2019) Royal Norwegian Navy (RNoN) and Navy NATO partners from Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) and the RNoN Maritime Warfare Center (MWC) pose for a photo at a biannual USN-RNoN Tactical Working Group (TWG) meeting. The TWG meeting was established in 2018 to enhance understanding of the capabilities and tactics used by both navies to improve interoperability of both NATO partners. SMWDC’s mission is to increase the lethality and tactical proficiency of the Surface Force across all domains.
