Bordeaux, France - Italian sumbarine base from 2nd Wold War. It is inland port, 60 miles from the coast on a river. Build in 1940 by Italians. Around 25 submarines were part of the Bordeaux flotila. Allies occupied the base on August 25, 1944. Today it is a cultural center.
