Garkey, Commander, 3d Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) during a speaking event with Soldiers of The Old Guard in Conmy Hall, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Va., Sept. 28, 2017. Col. Gadson is a bilateral above-the-knee amputee, occasional actor, and motivational speaker who served in the Army for over 20 years.
