In considering the list ofmachinery it must be remembered that many more than thepresent number of cars can be taken care of with the presentrepair shop equipment, in fact, the whole repair plant has beenlaid out with a view to a very large future growth in the num-ber of cars to be taken care of. The machinery in the machineshop proper is as follows: Blaisdell engine lathe, 17-in. swing, 6 ft. 8 ins. betweencenters. Fox turret head lathe, i8-in. swing, short centers. Blaisdell lathe, 20-in
