A UH-34D helicopter shot down during Operation Prairie on September 25, 1966, is being lowered to the flight deck of USS IWO JIMA for repairs. The incident occurred just south of the Demilitarized Zone during the Vietnam War. This photo captures the helicopter being returned for service.
