Vas deferens, light micrograph of a section through a human vas deferens. The vas deferens connects the epididymis with the prostatic urethra. The vas deferens transports mature sperm to the urethra, the tube that carries urine or sperm to outside of the body, in preparation for ejaculation. Pseudostratified epithelium with stereocilia line the vas deferens and large numbers of sperm are visible in the central lumen. Magnification: x 100 when printed at 10 centimetres tall. Human tissue.
