Model of a "Feldschlange"(gun),German,dated 1540. Heavy,tapering bronze barrel with heavily reinforced muzzle. Smooth bore in 18 mm calibre. Lateral trunnions,handle in shape of double dolphin heads. On upper side applied arms with three roses and engraving "1540 CVH". No touchhole cover,recoil plate with lionïs head in half relief. Original,coloured wooden carriage with finely forged iron mountings. Barrel length cm,total length cm.
