A Marine Corps Recruit Riley J. Poznanski with Alpha Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, simulates providing suppressive fire during a bayonet assault course at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 21, 2023. The recruits performed the course in groups of four, called a fire team, to simulate how to attack an enemy in a combat environment. Poznanski was recruited out of Poway, Calif. with Recruiting Station San Diego.
