Since leaving College hehas been engaged in real estate operations and inlooking after the interests of various industrial cor-porations in which he is a shareholder. Mr. Young has never taken an active interest in politics, andbelongs to few clubs or social organizations. Hemarried, December 29, 1887, Kittie Cummings,who died November 26, 1888. In April 1899,Mr. Young married Julia VVilmerding Martindale. WILLIAMS, Samuel Wells Yale (Hon.) in Utica, N. Y., 1812 ; educated at PolytechnicInst, Troy, N. Y. ; went to China in charge of theprinting establishment of Am. Bd. of Missions, 1833 ;returned to the U.
