Flather, Treasurer no gwtrtg of Unqutnj HE SOCIETY OF INQUIRY was founded on the seventh of October, 1833, to create, maintain, and extend throughout the school life a strong, high moral sentiment; to bring the students into a personal relation with JesusChrist as their Saviour and Lord; to build them up in Christian character and tolead them to affiliate themselves with some branch of the Christian Church. The activities of the Society may have changed slightly from earlier times, butit still stands for the religious and moral life of the school. During the past twoyears many have answered their countrys call, even though it meant the sacrificeof their lives. Yet to-day there comes an even clearer call. It is the old call forallegiance to the cause of righteousness and warfare against
