MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Oct. 7, 2014) A round is fired from a MK 45 5-inch gun during a live-fire exercise aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Arleigh Burke (DDG 51). Arleigh Burke, homeported in Norfolk, Va., is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
