This division wasdestined to take part in every offensive movementof the Americans till the end of the war and to cover /Zitself with glory. In the July counter offensive the Rainbow divi-sion captured Fere en Tardenois, a large ammuni-tion and supply depot of the enemy, besides win-ning on numerous other hotly contested fields.
