Mazurska Gate, Brodnica, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland


The tower of Mazurska Gate, also called Storck Tower, erected at the begining of 14th century, rebuilt around 1370. It is 30 meters tall, it has six floors and cellars. In the Middle Ages it was a part of municipal gate also called Mazurska which does not exist anymore. At the bottom of the tower is suquare but on the first floor it becomes octagon. Partially destroyed during the Napoleonic wars, renovated in the middle of 19th century.
