The Abbey Church of Waltham Holy Cross and St Lawrence is the parish church of the town of Waltham Abbey, Essex, England. A place of worship since the 7th century, the present Norman building dates from the early 12th century. The Abbey's stained glass including early work by Edward Burne-Jones in the rose window and lancets of the east wall was installed in 1859, when the architect William Burgess was appointed to undertake a restoration of the site and a refurbishment of the interior.
