Montmorency Falls, a few minutes ( miles) from downtown Québec City. At the mouth of the Montmorency River where it drops over the cliff into the Saint Lawrence River. The falls at 83 meters (272 ft.) high and 30 meters (nearly 100 ft.) higher than Niagara Falls. Montmorency Falls Park (Fr: Parc de la Chute-Montmorency) is open to visitors year around. NOTE: there is a zip line traversing the Falls and photos shows a person descending the zip line.
