Kilauea Eruption 2018
At 11:47 HST. on May 9, a Hawaii Volcano Observatory geologist measured a temperature of 103 degrees C (218 degree F) at a crack along Nohea Street in Leilani Estates. The asphalt road was described as "mushy" from the heat.
