The motifs are connected by a lattice ground, a round Valenciennes ground. The ribbons are made in linen with thicker and shiny contour threads on both sides of the ribbon. Decorative grounds have been applied within the contours of ribbons, including a net impact filling and a Mechelen ground decorated with mousse made in mold.
