Designed by architect Daniel Libeskind, 1988, to celebrate the life of the Osnabruck-born Jewish painter Felix Nussbaum. Osnabruck is also the birth place of novelist Erich Maria Remarque, anti-war writer and author of "All Quiet on the Western Front".
