Prestwick, Scotland, UK. 26th Dec, 2014. The 9th annual clic sergent Boxing Day swim was held at Prestwick beach, Ayrshire, near to the hospice. This attracted over 200 swimmers many in fancy dress costumes were marched to the beach by local piper Billy Kenny. This year was particularly costly for Clicsergent when during the recent storms the hospice was struck twice by lightning causing over £200,000 worth of damage and disruption to care. The swimmers hope to raise over £25,000 by sponsorship. Credit: Findlay/Alamy Live News
