The graves of three soldiers town to be buried in Brown's Road Military cemetery near Festubert in Northern France

Browns Road Military Cemetery is interesting in as much that it contains the graves of three men shot at dawn, Riffleman W Bellamy, Pt George Henry Lawton and Pt Bertie McCubbin. At their trial all were recommended for mercy due to medical or other reasons. All were refused and shot. Events continue to prevail by their families to have their names cleared of any wrong doing.
