The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) Avro Lancaster flies low over the trees in the Upper Derwent Valley to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the famous Dam Busters raid in the second world war. The attack was known as operation Chastise and was commanded by Wing Commander Guy Gibson who was awarded a Victoria Cross for his actions during the raid.
