Pictured: Reenactors show off their horsemanship skills at the 750th anniversary of the Battle of Evesham. / Thousands of visitors attend the 750th anniversary of the death of Simon de Montfort at the Battle of Evesham and the creation of the first English Parliament. The event in the historic Worcestershire market town, organised by The Simon de Montfort Society, included a re-enactment of the battle of Evesham 1265, arguably the largest mid-13th century re-enactment that has ever taken place in the UK, craft fair & demonstrations, 'living history', music, and much food & drink.
