Productiveness of vines, and berries that may be easily cleaned, keep and ship exceptionally well, and of excellent flavor, are the qualities that recommend Wales Henry. The variety originated with W. A. Andrews, North Carver, Massachusetts, about 1885. Vines rather coarse, with many uprights and few runners; very productive, bearing 60 bbls. to the acre; well adapted to scoop-picking.
