Jet engine manufacture. Technician assembles the fan blades of a turbine for an aircraft's jet engine. Jet aircraft use turbines to draw in air and compress it before it is mixed with fuel and burnt in a combustion chamber. The engine's exhaust gases are then used to spin another turbine which provides the power to drive the compressor turbine.
