The reverse side shows in gold on a white surface the dates 1292 (year in which Adolf van Nassau became German king) and 1858 (Sitching year of the Order). The shoulder strap is deep blue with an orange edge on either side. The Zilveren Osterster has eight points of five rays each, with the medallion (front) of the order sign within a bricked silver ring.
